Aislyn Greene

Associate Director, Podcasts at AFAR

Aislyn Greene has a long history of work experience in the media industry, beginning with an Editorial Internship at the Seattle Homes & Lifestyles in 2009. Aislyn then went on to complete an Editorial Internship at the Puget Sound Business Journal in 2010, followed by a Copy Editing Internship at The Seattle Times. In 2011, they were a Contributing Writer for TechFlash and a Freelance Writer for Self-employed. In 2012, they worked as an Assistant Editor and Editorial Assistant at Sunset Magazine. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have been with Afar Media, where they have held the roles of Associate Director of Podcasts, Deputy Editor, Senior Editor, and Associate Editor. During their time at Afar Media, they have developed, assigned, and edited travel features, managed the content and creatives for the Travel Tales program, and assigned and edited the Connect section.

Aislyn Greene began their educational journey in 2008 when they enrolled at the University of Washington, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Journalism in 2010. Prior to that, they also obtained a Diplome de la Langue Francais from Universite Rennes II in 2010. Aislyn Greene's educational journey began at Inglemoor High School.
