Hannah Powis has a diverse work experience in the field of disability inclusion and engagement. Hannah started their career in 2014 as a Class Tutor and PE Assistant at Livability - Choices for disabled people. Hannah later worked at Wessex Warriors Powerchair Football Club as the Club Secretary and Welfare Officer from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they joined AFC Bournemouth as a Disability Inclusion Development Officer, and eventually progressed to the role of EDI Manager. Hannah is currently working as the Head of EDI and Engagement at AFC Bournemouth. Alongside their work at AFC Bournemouth, Hannah also worked at The Football Association as a Powerchair regional emerging talent pathway coach from an unspecified date in 2019 until 2023.
Hannah Powis attended Middlesex University from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Prior to university, Hannah attended Lytchett Minster School, but the details of their degree or field of study are unknown. In 2020, they obtained a Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor certification from ILM with distinction.
