Pavan Adoni

Pavan Adoni is an accomplished professional with a strong background in research and engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Test Engineer and Development Scientist at AFC Energy since March 2022, Pavan previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Birmingham from June 2021 to December 2021 and as a PhD student at the same university between 2017 and 2021, focusing on the development of polymer induced biofilms for industrial applications. Additionally, Pavan contributed as a Teaching Assistant and Lab Demonstrator in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham. Early career experiences include a summer internship at Warwick Ventures, analyzing market potential for technology transfer, and a research project at the University of Warwick studying the enzymatic degradation of lignin. Pavan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Birmingham and a Master of Chemistry (MChem) from The University of Sheffield.
