Don Billings

Vice President of Manufacturing at aFe POWER - advanced FLOW engineering, Inc.

Don Billings has extensive work experience in manufacturing and operations management. Don began their career as a Welding Leadman at Todd Pacific Shipyards in 1974 and worked their way up to becoming a Welding Leadman. In 1988, they joined Komatsu Forklift MFG, where they were promoted to Plant Manager and was responsible for supervising a team of leadmen and workers, production planning, and quality control. In 1995, Don worked as a Night Shift Production Manager at Gary Steel, overseeing a crew of leadmen and steel workers. Don then joined Smittybilt Inc in 1996 as a Robotic Supervisor and was later promoted to Plant Manager, where they managed production schedules, estimated backlogs, and monitored quality. In 1999, they became the General Manager at Spark Plugs, where they were responsible for all aspects of operations, including resource management, safety, production planning, quality control, and profitability. From 2003 to 2008, they served as the Sr. Manufacturing Manager/Plant Manager at MAGNAFLOW, where they oversaw manufacturing operations in three facilities and managed a team of managers, supervisors, and direct employees. Don then worked as the Director of Manufacturing at BBK PERFORMANCE from 2008 to 2009, responsible for overseeing quality, logistics, production planning, cost control, and compliance. In 2010, they joined Luxfer Gas Cylinders as the Operations Manager, responsible for manufacturing, planning, and shipping activities, and leading business improvement teams. Currently, Don is the Vice President of Manufacturing at advanced FLOW engineering, Inc. (aFe POWER), where they are a member of the Senior Management Team and reports directly to the President & CEO.

Don Billings attended Wilson High School from 1969 to 1972. After high school, they pursued a field of study in Industrial at Long Beach City College from 1972 to 1974. During this time, they also attended LBCC for the same field of study. Later on, in February 2004, Don obtained a certification as a Certified Robotic Arc Welding Technician from OTC DAIHEN, Inc.
