Sanne Steemers is a seasoned professional in the commodities and agribusiness sectors, currently serving as Group COO at AFEX, where the focus is on enhancing trade and wealth creation in Africa's soft commodity markets. Sanne has a strong commitment to smallholder and SME finance as a Steering Committee member at the Smallholder and Agri-SME Finance and Investment Network (SAFIN), representing AFEX. Additionally, Sanne serves as Board Vice Chair and Treasurer at the FTO Foundation, emphasizing impact investing and market access for producers in developing countries.
