David Buchanan

David Buchanan has a robust career history in finance and corporate development. David started as a Financial Analyst at Howard Frazier Barker & Elliott in 2002 and later transitioned to The Situs Companies, where they held roles as an Associate and Asset Manager. Moving forward, they joined Carriage Services as a Corporate Development Analyst, specializing in M&A activities. Subsequently, they worked at Waste Management as a Senior Financial Analyst, focusing on capital investment opportunities. Most recently, David served as the Corporate Development Manager at GFL Environmental Inc., where they played a key role in financial analysis and due diligence for business acquisition targets. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Portfolio Management at Susser Bank.

David Buchanan holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business. David also studied Finance, Economics, Accounting, and Management Information Systems at The University of Texas at Austin.
