From 2009 to 2010, Riham Elbadri worked as a Medical Representative at Novartis, where they were responsible for evaluating business opportunities and promoting pharmaceutical sales. Riham then worked at Jacobs University Bremen from 2010 to 2012 as a Biochemist during their Master's studies, specializing in Immunology, Microbiology, and Molecular Genetics.
In 2012, they joined ICON plc as a Drug Safety Officer, and later became a PV Project Manager from 2016 to 2018. Their responsibilities included acting as a main safety client contact, training project teams, and organizing safety databases for clinical and postmarking projects.
From 2019 to 2021, Riham worked at PrimeVigilance Ltd., serving as a Pharmacovigilance Project Manager and later as a Senior Pharmacovigilance Project Manager/Deputy EU QPPV/Stufenplanbeauftragter.
Since 2021, they have been working at Affimed as the Head of Drug Safety.
Riham Elbadri obtained a Master's degree in Molecular life sciences from Jacobs University Bremen, graduating in 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) at Suez Canal University, graduating in 2009. Riham attended Franklin High School from 2000 to 2004 and earned their High School Diploma.
In terms of additional certifications, Riham obtained the "Deutsche Appropation als Apothekerin" from Landesprüfungs und Untersuchungsamt in Gesundheitswissen in Hessen in August 2021. Riham also received the certification as "Der Stufenplanbeauftrage - Update Herausforderungen und Stolpersteine" from CONCEPT HEIDELBERG GmbH in November 2019. Riham obtained the "Pharmazeutisch Fachsprachprüfung C1" from Landesapothekerkammer Baden Württemberg in September 2017 and the "International Accreditation as a Drug Safety Expert" from IAOCR in November 2014.
