Shanthi Thanabalasingam

Shanthi Thanabalasingam has over 27 years of work experience, starting in 1994 with Maybank as a Systems Administrator. Shanthi then joined DXC Technology in 2003 as a Lead, Process Management (UNIX), where they managed data center relocation and worked on UNIX compliance. In 2013, they became an Assistant Vice President at Maybank, overseeing technical and process management tasks. Shanthi then moved to Scope International in 2014 as an IT Risk Manager, responsible for risk management and compliance. In 2019, they joined Hong Leong Bank Berhad as an IT Risk and Compliance Manager, focusing on IT risk and compliance management and leading various assessments. Currently, since 2021, they are the VP - Technology and Operational Risk Management at AFFIN Group, where they facilitate the implementation of risk management tools.

Shanthi Thanabalasingam holds a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia, with a specialization in Computer Science.
