Catherine Dawson

Catherine Dawson serves as General Counsel at AffiniPay since November 2022 and holds a Board Member position at RED Arena, a non-profit focused on horse-assisted therapy for individuals with disabilities, since May 2019. Previously, Catherine held roles as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Osano, where the focus was on data privacy compliance; Founder and CEO of DSPC Advisors; and Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Spiceworks, concentrating on data privacy and cybersecurity. Catherine's earlier legal experience includes positions at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Gunderson Dettmer, and JONES DAY®, where corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions were primary responsibilities. Catherine earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from Oberlin College.
