Klaus Pechhold has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Klaus is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Affini-T Therapeutics since 2022. Prior to that, they had a significant role at Biospyder Technologies, Inc. from 2013-2016, where they served as an Application R&D Scientist, Adviser, and Collaborative Lead. During this time, they executed a genomic assay development program and collaborated closely with project co-investigators in academia. Klaus also developed integrated flow cytometry genomic workflows with broad immunological applicability. Before joining Biospyder Technologies, Inc., Klaus worked as an Associate Professor at UMass Medical School from 2009-2013. From 2000-2009, they held the position of Staff Scientist/Investigator at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK). Additionally, they worked as a Junior Principal Investigator at the University of Ulm from 1997-2000. Klaus Pechhold began their career with research appointments in academia, a federal agency, and military medicine, including positions such as Physician Scientist, Post Doc, and Clinical Training.
From 1982 to 1992, Klaus Pechhold attended the universities of Heidelberg and Ulm in Germany, where they pursued a degree in Immunology. Klaus successfully completed their studies and obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
