Christopher Stavrou

Christopher Stavrou has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Christopher began their career as an Accounts Assistant at Speciality Retail Group, where they gained experience in stock purchase ledger, management accounts, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting. Christopher then worked as a Financial Analyst at the same company's Young's Hire division on a short-term contract, where they established reporting systems and assisted with budget management and forecast planning. Stavrou later joined Orchid Group as an Assistant Financial Accountant, where they handled the integration of a newly acquired subsidiary and was responsible for monthly/annual accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and budgeting. Christopher was promoted to the role of Management Accountant, managing a team of two Accounts Assistants and preparing consolidated financials for three operating groups. Stavrou then became a Business Analyst at Orchid Group, reporting to the Finance Director and focusing on FP&A and reporting high-level information to management and stakeholders. Christopher also played a key role in the company's investment program. Most recently, Stavrou joined Affinity Water as the Head of Financial Strategy, where they enable and supports financial and corporate level strategic decision making and maintains and develops financial models. Christopher specializes in corporate financial analysis and UK regulatory financial framework and targets.

From 2000 to 2004, Christopher Stavrou studied at Middlesex University, where they earned a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting with Business Studies and Finance.
