James Lucas

James Lucas is a financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting. Currently serving as Financial Reporting Controller at AFH Wealth Management since November 2017, James has held various roles within the organization, including Assistant Financial Controller and Group Management Accountant. Prior to this, James worked as an Assistant Management Accountant at Avidity IP and as a Trainee Management Accountant at Clifton Cowley Legal. Early career experiences include analyst work for an IP commercialization company and roles in the hospitality industry at two Michelin recommended restaurants. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ancient History from Durham University and completed A levels in History, Politics, and Latin at Warwick School. Additionally, James volunteered aboard the STS Lord Nelson, contributing to inclusive sail training for individuals with disabilities.
