Jay Rathore

Jay Rathore has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jay currently holds the position of Commercial Director at Afiniti, a role they assumed in October 2023. Prior to this, Jay worked as a Commercial Lead at Afiniti from March 2021 to October 2023.

Before joining Afiniti, Jay worked at Vodafone from 2015 to 2021, starting as a Finance Analyst and progressing to Senior Commercial Manager. In their role at Vodafone, Jay was responsible for creating and maintaining a multi-brand trading strategy, pricing for consumer contracts, managing risks and opportunities within the P&L, and leading budget planning and operationalization processes. Jay also worked as an FP&A Manager, where they played a key role in delivering robust budgets and understanding fundamental drivers to achieve targets. Jay started their career at Vodafone as a Commercial Finance Analyst, where they consolidated and challenged the UK financial picture and led quarter-end external reporting.

Jay also gained valuable experience at Mundipharma as a Finance & Outsourcing Administrator from 2013 to 2014. In this role, they worked closely with internal customers to develop R&D clinical trials budgets, delivered full outsourcing services on cross-functional projects, and had oversight for cost center reports.

Additionally, Jay has previous internship experience as a Research Intern at Rise To and a Spring Break Intern at J.P. Morgan, both in 2012.

Jay Rathore completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Finance & Economics from Bournemouth University in 2015. In 2019, they finished their Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from BPP. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they attended Highdown School & Sixth Form Centre where they completed their A-Levels & GCSEs.
