Judith Akinosho

Judith Akinosho is Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Afiniti. In this role, Judith is responsible for developing Afiniti’s global compliance program and for advancing a strong organizational culture that reflects our values.

Judith joined Afiniti in 2022 from TikTok/ByteDance, where she served as Head of Ethics for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Previously, she was Global Head of Compliance at S&P Global Platts where she successfully led compliance efforts as part of that business became regulated.

A trained lawyer, she has close to 20 years of compliance experience across the technology, financial services and energy industries. She has been responsible for leading high impact efforts to improve compliance and mitigate regulatory risk at companies such as GE Oil & Gas, Superior Energy Services and Wood Group.

Judith graduated from the University of Lagos with an LLB in Law, before gaining a Master of Laws (LLM) in Information Technology Law at Robert Gordon University’s (RGU) Aberdeen Business School.

Judith is a recognized thought leader in the risk and compliance space, serving for multiple years as a judge for the global Women in Compliance Awards. She is also a mentor with Women on the Wharf, a professional network in London.
