Maria Ochoa has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Maria began their career as an Administrative Assistant at UCLA Labor Center in 2008 and concurrently served as the President of Pride at Work, AFL-CIO, L.A. Chapter. In the same year, they worked as a Producer for the short film "Code 6" under EatMos Productions. Prior to that, Maria held the position of Organizer at SEIU 1199NW in 2007. Maria also worked as an Art Direction / Set Design for the short film "Easy Mark" in the same year. From 2005 to 2006, Maria served as an Organizer at SEIU Local 5. Additionally, they worked at Kayne Eras Center as a 1:1 Assistant / Teacher's Aide / Admin Assistant from 2000 to 2003. In 2001, Maria worked as a Subtitle Translator for the documentary "Bloodletting" under EatMos Productions. Throughout their career, Maria has gained experience in administration, organizing, production, and translation.

Maria Ochoa attended Mount Saint Mary's University from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing and Criticism. Additionally, they completed a minor in Business Management.
