Malia Villegas

Malia Villegas is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community investments and policy research. Currently, Malia serves as Senior Vice President of Community Investments at Afognak Native Corporation since January 2017, having previously held the role of Vice President in the same area. Prior to this, Malia was the Director of the Policy Research Center at the National Congress of American Indians from October 2011 to January 2017. Malia holds a Doctor of Education degree from Harvard University, completed between 2004 and 2010, and earned a degree from Stanford University from 1997 to 2001.
