Veronica Asmus has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Veronica currently works as the Head of Operations at Afore Capital, where they manage operations for a pre-seed-focused Venture Capital Firm. In this role, Veronica has built and maintained a proprietary CRM for the fund's community and network. Veronica also serves as an Executive Assistant to the two Managing Partners of the firm.

Prior to their roles at On Deck, Veronica worked at Hilton as a Senior Catering Sales Manager and Catering Sales Manager, where they were responsible for event sales and service. Veronica also worked at Alta Ski Lifts as a Ticketing Manager, Mons Royale as a Sales and Marketing Specialist, Base NZ as a Retail Operations Manager, Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge as a Saloon Manager and Event Coordinator, and Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort as an Event Coordinator.

Veronica's work experience demonstrates their expertise in operations management, community building, communications strategy, event planning, and sales.

Veronica Asmus earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Montana in 2009, majoring in BA Anthropology, BA Communication Studies, with a minor in Psychology. In 2010, they completed a Semester for Outdoor Educators at NOLS, obtaining certifications in Wilderness First Responder and Avy Level 1. In 2008, Veronica also took part in a Museum Practicum at ACT - American College of Thessaloniki, focusing on Classical, Ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern Studies and Archaeology. Veronica later obtained a Certificate in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University - College of Business in 2020. Veronica has received various additional certifications, including a Community MBA from CMX in 2021, and several product management and leadership certifications from LinkedIn and Hilton, respectively. Veronica has also obtained certifications in guest services, outdoor education, and skiing.
