Marco van Gent

Marco van Gent has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Marco began their career in 1997 as an Account Engineer at Information Builders, then moved to Kobra as a Data Warehouse Specialist. In 2000, they joined Netonomy as a Product Marketing Manager and Pre-Sales Manager. In 2006, they became Manager Product Sales Support at Comverse, and then in 2007 they moved to Salesforce.com as a Principal Sales Engineer. In 2012, they became General Manager, Europe at Endowance Solutions, and in 2014 they took on the role of Pre-Sales Northern Europe at ServiceMax. In 2015, they joined Vlocity - The Industry Cloud Company as a Principal Sales Engineer, and in 2019 they moved to Helpshift as a Principal Sales Engineer, running and building the EMEA PreSales team. In 2020, they became Director, Sales Engineering at Aforza.

Marco van Gent attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Information Technology. Prior to that, they attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1988 to 1990, studying INSI.
