Yingting Xiao

Yingting Xiao is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Manager and Staff Software Engineer at Afresh, focused on data-driven supply chain optimizations to reduce food waste in grocery stores since August 2022. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer role at Facebook, where efforts were directed towards adapting the media storage system for privacy compliance, and a similar position at Lyft, leading development for an autonomous driving simulation platform. Yingting also contributed as a Software Engineer at Google, optimizing performance for Google Maps on Android, and held various positions at the University of Pennsylvania, including Teaching Assistant and Summer Research Assistant. Additional internships were completed at Figma and Microsoft, where skills in software development were further honed.
