Marisa Mitchell- Levy

Marisa Mitchell-Levy, MSW, is a dedicated social work professional with extensive experience in various roles within community and educational settings. Currently serving as a Case Manager at the African American Planning Commission, Inc. since July 2020, Marisa utilizes psychosocial assessments to formulate tailored treatment plans for clients. Previous positions include School Social Worker at the NYC Department of Education, where assessment plans for students with specific needs were developed, and Youth Development Counselor at Good Shepherd Services, focusing on therapeutic exercises for youth. Marisa also worked as a Social Services Specialist at Erasmus Neighborhood Federation, Inc., assisting clients with service needs and immigration applications, and in community affairs with the New York City Council.
