Ruramai Munyaka has extensive work experience in finance, business intelligence, and economic research. Ruramai has held various roles in different organizations.

From 2016 to the present, Munyaka has been working at African Sales Company as the Head of Finance, Business Intelligence, and Demand Planning. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's finance and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, and preparing budgets and financial statements.

Prior to that, Munyaka worked as a Commercial Finance Manager and Commercial Analyst at African Sales Company. Ruramai also held positions at MSCI Inc. as an Associate and Research Manager, where they handled investment property analytics, production of market publications, and research reports.

Earlier in their career, Munyaka worked as a Research Associate at African Development Economic Consultants and as a Research Specialist and Head of Research at the National Code on Corporate Governance for Zimbabwe. Ruramai also served as a Senior Investment Analyst at Autus, Fin360 Research, Redemption Group, and the State Enterprises Restructuring Agency. In these roles, they conducted financial analysis, due diligence, risk assessment, and provided advisory services.

Munyaka's career began as an Economist at the Ministry of Economic Planning & Investment Promotion, where they managed databases, conducted economic research, and coordinated policy formulation.

Ruramai Munyaka's education history begins with their high school education at Nyatsime College, which they completed from 1996 to 2001. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Zimbabwe from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. Following that, Ruramai attended the Institute of Bankers in Zimbabwe, where they obtained a Diploma in Banking & Finance from 2003 to 2006.

Continuing their academic journey, Ruramai studied at the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe. They pursued a Master of Science degree in Banking & Finance and completed the program from 2007 to 2009.

Additionally, Ruramai obtained a certification called ASA from CPA Australia, which was earned in September 2023. This certification may have been obtained outside their formal education timeline as an additional qualification.
