CPA Metrine Wandera

Metrine Wandera began their work experience as an Office Administrator at Lukoba & Company Advocates in April 2013. After four months, they transitioned to a role as an Accountant at Kupona LTD in February 2014. In March 2015, they joined Africa's Talking as an Accountant and later became the Lead Accountant from January 2016 to July 2019. During their time at Africa's Talking, the company aimed to expand its presence across Africa and improve customer experience for developers integrating mobile services. In August 2019, they took on the role of Revenue Assurance Lead at Africa's Talking until February 2022. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Finance at Africa's Talking, starting in January 2022.

CPA Metrine Wandera completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Strathmore University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a CPAK certification from KCA University between 2010 and 2013. In terms of secondary education, they attended St. Thomas Aquinqs Madende Secondary School from 2004 to 2007 and obtained a KCSE degree. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from ICPAK in November 2018.
