Christine Masese

Christine Masese is an accomplished creative director and co-founder with extensive experience in managing production workflows, client relations, and quality control at Tropical Muse. In addition to overseeing artisan training and pop-up markets, Christine co-founded the Wake Na Vijana Initiative, focusing on empowering women and youth through entrepreneurship training and advocacy. As an ambassador for ANKA, Christine enhances the global visibility of local brands while offering design consulting. Past roles include co-design fellow at Soko and apparel and accessories designer at Blackfly, both of which emphasized capacity building and product design excellence. Christine's educational background includes a Master of Science in Entrepreneurship from Jomo Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the University of Nairobi.
