Chris de Vries

Chris de Vries has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Chris began their career in 2005 at Deloitte London as an Audit Manager, where they supervised audit teams and consulted on IFRS transition projects. In 2008, they joined Deloitte in South Africa as a Corporate Finance Senior Manager, specializing in financial due diligence assignments for various industries. Chris then transitioned to Venmyn Deloitte in 2014, serving as an Associate Director and later as the Managing Director, before joining Afrimat in 2020. At Afrimat, Chris initially worked in Business Development and later became the Head of Group Strategy and Business Development.

Chris de Vries attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 1998 to 2001. Chris obtained a BCom Honours degree in Accounting Sciences, specializing in Accounting, Auditing, Tax, and Financial Management.
