Ben Buckingham

Ben Buckingham is the Founder and CEO of Primary, which focuses on modern treasury management solutions, since September 2022. In addition, Ben serves as a Fellow at AfterWork Ventures, contributing as an LP investor and community member since October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Product Officer at identitii from February 2016 to June 2022, where Ben was instrumental in leading product development, culminating in the company’s IPO. Ben began a career at McKinsey & Company as a Consultant from August 2013 to February 2016, where recognition included an awarded Fellowship. Earlier experience includes working as a Lawyer at Allens Linklaters from February 2012 to August 2013, focusing on Banking and Finance, Insolvency, and Litigation. Ben holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Sydney, as well as having participated in an exchange program in International and European Law at Radboud University.
