Jamil Newell

Jamil Newell, PE is currently the President at Agbara Engineering. Prior to this role, Jamil was the Vice President at Engineered Design Services and held various managerial positions at companies such as PowerWright Technologies, POWER Engineers, and NextEra Energy Resources. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Jamil has extensive experience in transmission engineering and project management. At NextEra Energy Resources, Jamil oversaw the installation of Smart Grid Technology at numerous substations in Southern Florida. Additionally, while working at The Haskell Company, Jamil successfully managed project budgets, work crews, and developed quality assurance plans.
