Mette Jurlander Mar

Mette Jurlander Mar is a Process Validation Scientist at AGC Biologics, where responsibilities include providing technical support for process validation and assisting internal stakeholders and customers. Mette completed a PhD project at the Technical University of Denmark, focusing on metabolic engineering of Lactococcus lactis to develop 2-butanol production methods, achieving significant advancements in production levels. Prior experience includes a position at DONG Energy, overseeing laboratory establishment and maintenance for bioliquids analysis, and roles at Novozymes as a student assistant and intern, gaining valuable insights into biotechnological research and enzyme characterization. Mette holds a Master of Science in Engineering in Biotechnology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemistry and Biotechnology, both from the Technical University of Denmark, along with an exchange experience at Aalto University.
