Tim Jung

Tim Jung is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and management. As the Founder and CEO of XL8 Inc. since 2019, Tim has developed innovative AI solutions to assist language service providers and enhance communication through real-time interpretation and subtitling. In addition to advisory roles at COMEUP and AGCC, Tim has a rich background in software engineering at notable companies such as Lyft and Google, where significant contributions included improving search functionalities and developing large-scale databases. With a PhD in Computer Science from Columbia University, Tim has also been recognized for academic excellence, winning the Best Paper Award at CloudCom 2012. Further experience includes engineering roles at Samsung Electronics and service as a Communications Officer in the Republic of Korea Army.
