Scott Byrum

Scott Byrum is an experienced operations and sales management professional with a strong background in the lighting and astronomical product industries. Currently serving as Director of Operations at AGENA ASTROPRODUCTS since June 2019, Scott previously held the position of Director of Sales for the US and Canada at Meade Instruments Corp from May 2014 to May 2019. Scott's expertise includes overseeing customer service operations, managing sales support teams, and implementing performance metrics to enhance service delivery. Prior to these roles, Scott worked at Hubbell Lighting as Customer Service Manager, where responsibilities included coordinating support for major outdoor lighting brands and resolving supply chain issues. Scott's career began at Meade Instruments Corp in various capacities, culminating in the role of Dealer Support & EDI Manager, focusing on domestic and international dealer support. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Astronomy from San Diego State University, earned between 1988 and 1992.
