Rui Negrões Soares

Rui Negrões Soares has a diversified work experience spanning several companies and roles over the years. Rui recently joined Agentifai in 2022 as the Head of Sales & Marketing. Prior to that, in 2022, they served as an Executive Board Member at Locarent.

Before their roles in Agentifai and Locarent, Rui Negrões Soares had an extensive tenure at CGD. From 2017 to 2022, they held the position of Head of Digital Bank Department. Preceding that, they were the Head of Marketing Department from 2015 to 2017, Head of HR Department from 2014 to 2015, and Sales Director from 2010 to 2014.

Earlier in their career, Rui Negrões Soares worked at FleetData as the Operations & Product Director from 2008 to 2010, Country Manager from 2007 to 2008, and Sales Manager from 2005 to 2007. Rui also worked at ALD Automotive as the Sales & Marketing Manager from 2001 to 2005.

Rui'scareer began at CGD in 1993, where they started as a Risk Analyst Trainee and worked until 2001. During their time at CGD, they held various roles including Corporate Business Manager from 2000 to 2001, Retail Branch Manager from 1996 to 2000, and Corporate Account Manager from 1994 to 1996.

Rui Negrões Soares pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics at ISEG - Lisbon School of Economics & Management from 1986 to 1992. In 2000, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Banking Management from ISGB. Moving forward to 2017 and 2021, Rui Negrões Soares attended short-term programs at INSEAD and Harvard Business School respectively, focusing on Digital Strategy and Behavioral Sciences. Additionally, in 2022, they undertook two more short-term programs at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), specializing in Behavioral Economics.
