Russell Collins

Russell Collins has extensive experience in engineering and product management within the renewable energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Plant Integration & Control at Aggreko since May 2009, Russell leads a product management group focused on control system products and microgrid control algorithms to advance Aggreko's Energy Transition goals. Previous roles include Head of Solutions Engineering, where Russell managed engineering teams for global renewable power projects, and Technical Specialist - Electrical and Controls, facilitating the development of hybrid microgrid offerings. Earlier in their career, Russell held engineering positions at Arup and BEC Engineering, focusing on electrical engineering for various mining and power projects. Russell holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UNSW.
