Christopher Catron has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Christopher began their career in 2003 as a Computer Systems Specialist in the US Army Reserves, where they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting military computer systems. Christopher also worked as an Information Technology Specialist for the US Army Reserves, providing training and coordinating unit training activities.
In 2004, Catron joined the Virginia Information Technologies Agency as an Information Technology Specialist. Christopher later worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation as an Information Technology Specialist II.
Catron then transitioned to the private sector, working for Stopka & Associates as an Information Technology Specialist I. Christopher was involved in the integration of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) into the support network of the Virginia Information Technology Associations (VITA). Christopher also provided troubleshooting and problem solving support to VDOT employees.
Catron subsequently joined the Communications Cabling & Technology, Inc. (CC&T) and Information Systems Support Group, LLC as a Contractor.
In 2012, Catron joined the US Army, SCOE G6 as an Information Technology Specialist II. Christopher installed and repaired hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, resolving connectivity and user issues for over 2000 people.
Catron then worked for Caelum as a Computer Systems Analyst Tech III, where they led and provided support for a large number of computer systems.
Christopher later worked for Freealliance.com LLC as an Information Technology Specialist III, where they served as the primary point of escalation contact and monitored network and system performance.
Catron's most recent position was with A3T (Agil3 Technology Solutions) as an Information Technology Specialist.

From 2017 to 2019, they attended Strayer University and obtained a Master of Science Degree in Information Assurance with a focus on Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
Between 2004 and 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree at Strayer University in the field of Information Systems - Computer Networking Systems.
From 2002 to 2004, they attended ITT Technical Institute and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Information Technology – Computer Networking Systems.
In addition to their academic degrees, Catron also earned various certifications. These include the MCSA Windows 10 from Microsoft, which they obtained in February 2018. In June 2013, they attained the MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional), MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), and the MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certifications from Microsoft.
