Special Programs Chief Engineer at Agile Space Industries

Charlie Garcia has worked in various roles in the aerospace industry since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Counselor at Cosmosphere International SciEd Center, teaching space science and history to campers and students between 1st and 12th grade. In 2016, they worked as a UROP - Project Firefly at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where they developed solid rocket propellants with very low burn rates as well as the manufacturing and handling procedures that accompanied them. In 2017, they worked as President of the MIT Rocket Team and Launch Engineering at SpaceX. In 2018, they worked as Manufacturing Engineering at SpaceX. Finally, in 2019, they worked as Special Programs Chief Engineer and Production Manager at AGILE Space Industries, where they were responsible for the technical development of a state of the art rocket propulsion system and the production planning of flight hardware for all Agile Space Industries programs.

Charlie Garcia attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019, where they studied Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.
