Cosimo Alfarano

Cosimo Alfarano has a long and varied work experience in the software engineering field. Cosimo began their career in 1999 as a Linux Administrator for the University of Bologna's Computer Science Department. In 2000, they moved on to become a Senior System and Network Architect at QXMedia. In 2003, they took on a role as System Architect and Administrator at Retitudine s.r.l. In 2006, they were a Researcher at the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche and a System Administrator at BJMaster. From 2008 to 2009, they worked as a Senior System and Network Architect and Developer at Ideas to Market. From 2009 to 2013, they were a Software Engineer at Collabora Ltd. Finally, from 2013 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Velocix and then a Technical Director and Principal Software Engineer at Agile Analog.

Cosimo Alfarano obtained a Bachelor's degree in Distributed Systems from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 1996 and 2001. In October 2014, they received a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
