Chris (Yu Hsuan) Lee has worked in a variety of roles over the past decade. In 2010, they began their career as a Counselor at Rockland Community College Sports Camp. In 2013, they took on a Student Leader role at the University at Buffalo. In 2014, they worked as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at Gate Hill Day Camp. In 2015, they were a Process Quality Co-Op at Moog Inc., where they developed an on-process probing program for multi-axis CNC machines. In 2016, they were a Project Engineer and Intern at Buffalo Manufacturing Works, where they applied project-based work with exposure to advanced automation, additive manufacturing, metrology/inspection, and technical business consulting. Chris (Yu Hsuan) also developed faster computed tomography algorithms based on Iterative Reconstruction techniques and conducted machine learning focused on automated defect recognition with input from process experts. In 2019, they began their role as a Graduate Student at Oregon State University, where they conducted research into robot deployments for multi-robot systems, initiated domain literature search, generated problem formulation, and developed underlying novel deployment algorithms for robots from drone/ground vehicle teams (marsupial robot systems) in exploration planning. In 2021, they began their current role as an Applications Engineer at Agility Robotics.

Chris (Yu Hsuan) Lee has an education history that includes a Master's degree in Robotics from Oregon State University, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, and a New York HS Diploma with Honors from North Rockland High School. Lee's education history began in 2009 when they graduated from North Rockland High School, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 2016, and a Master's degree in Robotics from Oregon State University in 2021.
