Nathan Jewell has worked in a variety of roles in the software development industry since 2015. In 2015, they were a Cloud Infrastructure Intern at Intel Corporation, where they worked on OpenStack and the now open source telemetry project Snap. In 2016, they were a Contracted Programmer for Web Development at Portland State University, where they collaborated with a graduate student and professor to develop online educational tools. In 2017, they were a Full Stack Development Intern at Cascade Custom Software Inc., where they designed and implemented new features on their internal sales tool. In 2018, they were a Technical Lead and Backend Developer at ShoeBio Inc., where they established the technical division of the company and was the primary architect of the first in-house stack for automated web scraping, data storage, and API. In 2019, they were a Research Assistant for Autonomous Racing at Oregon State University, where they developed and integrated components for an autonomous driving pipeline. Currently, they are a Software Developer for General Robotics at Agility Robotics.
Nathan Jewell attended Woodrow Wilson High School from 2013 to 2017 and subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Oregon State University in 2021.
