Ben Shaker

Prior to joining agilon health in 2017, as Ohio Market President, Ben served as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Mount Carmel Health Partners, a clinically integrated network, part of Trinity Network. He was responsible for a network of 1,800 providers and more than 190,000 covered lives across ten value-based contracts.

Under his leadership at agilon health, he led the growth of the Central region from one to six markets over three years. Early 2020, he was named Chief Markets Officer, overseeing all 11 of the market partnerships that are on the agilon health platform today.

His education includes a B.A. in Economics from Youngstown State University and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the Ohio State University.
