Joanna Engelhardt

Joanna Engelhardt has extensive experience in product management, spanning over two decades. Joanna has held senior positions in various healthcare and technology companies. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Product Management at agilon health since September 2021. Previously, they served as the Senior Director of Product Management at Nuance Communications from July 2019 to September 2021. Joanna'srole involved overseeing the global product management team delivering solutions for Clinical Documentation Excellence and Computer Assisted Physician Documentation (CAPD).

Before that, they worked at athenahealth as the Director of Product Management from May 2017 to April 2019. While there, they were responsible for managing the product roadmap and development for the electronic health record (EHR) chart and encounter documentation. Joanna also led a team of up to 10 Product Managers and Senior Product Managers, utilizing agile methodologies and daily releases.

Prior to athenahealth, Joanna was the Director of Product Management at NANTHEALTH from January 2016 to April 2017. In this role, they focused on solving problems related to patient and provider ordering and consent of genomic testing, along with managing a cross-functional team.

Joanna's experience also includes serving as the Director of Platform Product Management at NaviNet from September 2012 to January 2016. During this time, they led a team responsible for the platform product roadmap and successful releases for America's largest interactive SaaS healthcare network.

Before transitioning to the healthcare industry, Joanna worked at Thomson Reuters and Reuters, where they held various roles in product management and client services from 1996 to 2012.
