Brian Hughes

Brian Hughes has a solid background in software engineering with experience in various roles at different companies. Brian started their career at Honeywell Aerospace as a Software Engineer from July 1999 to August 2000. Brian then worked at Tenzing Communications as a Software Engineer from September 2000 to January 2005. Following that, they joined OnAir as a Senior Software Engineer from February 2005 to October 2014. Most recently, they have been working at Agilysys, where they initially served as a Senior Software Engineer from November 2014 to June 2020. Brian is currently in the role of Principal Engineer at Agilysys, which they started in June 2020. Brian has been responsible for designing and implementing scalable architectures using various technologies such as Java, Spring, Python, shell scripting, Linux, MongoDB, Docker, virtualization, and cloud computing.

Brian Hughes attended the University of Washington from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering.
