Heather Renee Barr

Heather Renee Barr has a diverse work experience spanning from 2002 to the present. Heather Renee began their career as an Internal Auditor at the East Baton Rouge Parish School System, where they identified pricing discrepancies and evidence of fraud. Heather Renee then moved on to become a Sr. Internal Audit Consultant at Protiviti, where they reengineered testing approaches and provided recommendations for improving business profitability. Afterward, they worked as an Internal Audit Director at Premiere Global Services, where they developed the company's first Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and established risk management accountability into strategic planning. Following this, they became a Risk Assurance Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, advising clients on risk governance structures and performing benchmarking assessments for ERM functions. Currently, they are the Director of Internal Audit at Agilysys. Additionally, they have certifications as a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer.
