Caroline Meers, DVM, PhD, PMP has a wealth of experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry. In 2021, they began their role as Project Manager Early Development at AgomAb Therapeutics, where they are translating expertise in growth factor biology to develop novel treatments for fibrosis and organ failure. In 2020, they became Director External Research at ViroVet. From 2016 to 2020, they were R&D Business Unit Manager Life Sciences and Cluster Lead R&D at Modis. Here, they managed operational aspects of the R&D Business Unit, initiated and supported process improvements, and acted as a People Coach. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an Independent Professional and Laboratory Animal Science Clinician at Medanex Clinic. Finally, from 2007 to 2011, they obtained a PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences at the Catholic University of Leuven.
Caroline Meers, DVM, PhD, PMP has an extensive education history. Caroline obtained their Master's degree in Veterinary Medicine from UGent in 2001-2007. Caroline then continued their studies at KU Leuven, where they obtained their PhD in Biomedical Sciences in 2007-2011, as well as their Felasa C in Laboratory Animal Science in 2007-2008. In 2017, they obtained their PMP from PMI. In 2019, they completed a 3D Leadership Training from Qlick. Additionally, they hold certifications from KU Leuven for their Felasa C (Advanced Course in Laboratory Animal Science) and from PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter for their PMP (Project Management Professional).
