Joanna Pandera

Joanna Pandera PhD is an accomplished academic and expert in environmental impact assessment and energy transition, currently serving as a Professor at the School of Transnational Governance since September 2024. Joanna is also an INETTT Board Member and a member of the scientific council at the Instytut Ochrony Środowiska-Państwowy Instytut Badawczy. Additionally, Joanna contributes to the European Council on Foreign Relations as a member of the Advisory Commission and is a co-founder and council member of Ekspercka Rada ds. Bezpieczeństwa Energetycznego i Klimatu. With a longstanding role as President of Forum Energii, Joanna has been instrumental in supporting energy transition since July 2016. Previous experience includes positions at Agora Energiewende as a senior associate and board member, as well as involvement in Poland's National Committee for Environmental Impact Assessment. Joanna's academic background includes a PhD in Environmental Impact Assessment from Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu and additional doctoral studies at the University of Potsdam, complemented by international education through an Erasmus program at Kiel University.
