Sherry Peng

Sherry Peng has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Sherry is currently employed at Agora as the Sr. Manager - Security Audit | Compliance | Data Protection and Privacy since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the President of Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Colorado starting from May 2022. Sherry also worked at WhiteORC Systems, Inc. as a CyberAmbassador for the Women in Cyber Program starting from November 2019.

Sherry gained valuable experience at DISH Network as the Manager of Infosec - Compliance from September 2021 to September 2022. Before that, they held multiple roles at Charter Communications, including Senior Manager of SOC - Network Ops from February 2020 to September 2022, Manager of CSOC - Network Ops from October 2017 to February 2020, and Project Manager from June 2017 to October 2017.

Sherry Peng also worked as the Civil Litigation Coordinator at Armstrong Teasdale LLP from August 2016 to June 2017. Their earliest known work experience was at the City of Boulder where they served as a Risk and Legal Analyst from May 2006 to June 2016. During their ten-year tenure, they handled various roles and tasks, gaining expertise in legal matters and risk management applicable to compliance and security regulations.

Sherry Peng completed their Bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Colorado Boulder. Sherry then pursued further education at Regis University where they obtained a Master's degree in Information Assurance in Cyber Security with a Policy Management Certificate. Their field of study in this program was Cybersecurity.
