Mariana M. has held a variety of roles in the digital marketing and communications field since 2004. Mariana began their career at Player Comunicação Digital as Director of Planning, Content and Information Architecture in 2004. From 2007 to 2009, Mariana held the position of General Manager of Creative and Innovation at CDN Comunicação Corporativa, where they managed a team of 16 people in the areas of digital planning, content, design, information architecture, social media and search marketing. Mariana then moved to FSB Comunicação as Social Media Manager in 2009. In 2010, Mariana worked as Digital Communications Manager at The Jeffrey Group, where they were responsible for planning and managing digital communication strategies for public and private organizations in Brazil and other Latin American countries. In 2011, they worked as Social Media Operations/Planning Manager at Wunderman, managing a team of 5 people and producing content and narratives. In 2013, Mariana opened their own restaurant, Eba! Comidas Saudáveis, with a partner. In 2015, they worked as Head of Content and SMB Education Projects at Facebook, where they were responsible for presenting keynotes, panels, workshops and sessions for small business owners in industry events and in the company's own projects. In 2017, Mariana became Digital Strategist at Entrelinhas Comunicação e Publicidade. In 2018, they worked as Strategic Communications Specialist at Softplan Planejamento e Sistemas. In 2019, Mariana joined Agorapulse as Sales Operations Manager and Regional Manager of Sales and Customer Success (PT/BR), where they were responsible for showing the value of the Social Media management platform to customers and prospects in the Portuguese/Brazilian region.

Mariana M. graduated from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing in 2005 with a degree in Marketing Communications. Mariana previously obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo in 2000 and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas in 1997. Additionally, Mariana obtained an Introduction to Search Engine Optimization certification from Coursera in November 2017.
