Kris Kowal

Kris Kowal is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry. Currently employed at Agoric since April 2020, Kris also serves as a World Builder for Clockwork Worlds, creating interactive stories for patrons. Previously, with a strong tenure at Uber as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2014 to April 2020, Kris led a team focused on service communication libraries. Other significant roles include Senior Software Engineer at Montage Studio, Software Engineer at Motorola Mobility, and various positions at Fastsoft Inc., Apple Inc., and Cal Poly Computer Science Department. Kris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University and a prior transfer degree from Moorpark College.
