Doron Darmon has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Doron began as an independent consultant, providing IT services to enterprise and governmental organizations. In 2003, they became the CTO of Menora Mivtachim Pension Ltd, a leading insurance company and pension fund in Israel. Doron was responsible for setting the IT services and management infrastructure. In 2005, they became the CIO of The Rashi Foundation. In 2007, they were the CTO of SCE, leading the IT department for supplying IT and special services for more than 5,000 users. Doron was responsible for managing modern IT systems, mobile platforms, security, MDM, ERP, CRM, ISO 27001, cloud services, and more. In 2012, they became a self-employed security expert. In 2014, they became the Cyber Security PMO of ICL Group, one of the global companies in the world in the fertilizers and chemicals industry. Doron was responsible for leading the cyber security projects in ICL production sites in Israel. In 2017, they became the Director of Software Developing Project Manager of the Israel National Cyber Directorate. In 2021, they became the VP Cyber and Compliance of Cynomi - vCISO platform for Managed Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers. Doron was responsible for security director, leading the company ISO compliance, security and cyber protection research, writing, and editing the content in Cynomi vCISO platform, and head of support for MSP and MSSP clients.
Doron Darmon attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 1989 to 1994, where they received a BSC and MSc in Computer engineering.
