Nir Aloni has over 30 years of experience in the agronomy industry. In 1990, they began their career as an Agronomist at ICL Group, where they were a consultant on fertilizers and mineral nutrition for a wide range of crops. In 1998, they took on the role of Agronomic Services Manager at John Deere Water - Plastro. In 2005, they became the Chief Agronomist at Rivulis Irrigation, where they dealt with optimal drip type selection and optimal use and maintenance of the system. In 2014, they took on the role of Senior Agronomist, Expert for Soil and Water at TAHAL Group, providing professional support throughout the life cycle of agricultural projects. In 2018, they became Chief Agronomist & Partner at ALONIR AGRI, where they specialized in precise irrigation and fertigation. Most recently, in 2019, they became Chief Agronomist at Agritask, where they are working to cast their agronomy experience into an information system.
Nir Aloni attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Soil & Water.
