Shahar Weksler, PhD has a diverse work experience in remote sensing and data science. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Ecolo-GIS as a GIS specialist, responsible for datasets and field work. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Tel Aviv University as a PhD student in the Remote Sensing Lab, where they conducted research in hyperspectral remote sensing and Python-based machine learning for plant phenotyping. Shahar also conducted a long-term greenhouse study utilizing the latest technology in hyperspectral cameras. Since 2022, they have been working at Agritask as a remote sensing and data scientist.
Shahar Weksler, PhD has a long history of education. Shahar began their studies in 2010, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Sciences, Nature Protection and land management from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Shahar then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Geo informatics and remote sensing from Tel Aviv University in 2017. Finally, they are currently pursuing a PhD in Remote sensing of Vegetation from Tel Aviv University, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
