Tal Simha has a wealth of work experience. From 2020 to present, they have worked as an Account Executive - Strategic Partnerships and Business Development Manager at Agritask. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Senior Associate, Corporate Finance | Management Consulting at KPMG Israel, where they provided strategic consulting services to senior management in the private and public sectors, conducted market research to identify trends, key points, competitiveness, and business opportunities, and performed macroeconomic assessments for measuring the economic contribution of the company's activities. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as an Advisor to the General Director and Regulatory Policy Economist at the Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development, where they supported the government's policy to reduce the regulatory burden imposed on business and citizens, performed regulatory impact assessment (RIA), cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment regarding laws and regulations, and formulated and promoted reforms in current regulation and provided the government with independent scrutiny of new regulatory and deregulatory proposals. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, where they performed analytical analysis and measuring of financial problems and trends of Israeli agriculture, gathered data in order to update relevant educational materials with accordance to new trends and changes in the economic environment, and formulated lections structures and provided assistance in different classes.
Tal Simha completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agricultural Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2011 and 2014. Tal then went on to earn a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Economics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2014 and 2017.
