Kamal Baig

Kamal Baig is currently the VP at Agrocrop Exports Ltd. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at National Foods Limited from March 2014 to July 2018. Kamal was responsible for growing the International business through development of Subsidiary Model and generating additional indigenous revenue globally by way of acquisition, contract packing, etc. apart from Exports from Pakistan. Kamal built the team and established a comprehensive profitable global growth strategy with key focus on North America, Europe and Middle East.

From July 2009 to August 2012, Kamal was the Chief Executive Officer at Rubicon Food Products Ltd. where they were tasked with reversing a declining sales trend and improving operational and distribution efficiencies. Kamal developed and implemented the business strategy involving all the key stakeholders, built the team, expanded distribution across the US and Canada, restructured the sales team, increased manufacturing efficiencies, planned long-term contracts for major raw material and developed alternate suppliers. Under their leadership, the company achieved planned business results, tripled distribution points with major retailers that increased sales in high double digit percentage and drove business profitability.

After completing a Bachelor of Science at Forman Christian College, Kamal Baig pursued a career in marketing and management with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of the Punjab. Kamal continued their studies with an MBA in International & Retail Marketing from the University of Leicester.

Kamal Baig is currently enrolled in a Disruptive Strategy program at Harvard Business School Online.
